The SMFA is excited to bring back the Co-Ed Flag Football program under the Ontario Community Flag Football League, open to players aged 6–13.
The Scarborough Thunder Flag Football League welcomes players of all skill levels and will offer fun, inclusive, and competitive play.

The season will consist of four (4) games plus playoffs starting June 25 - July 30, 2025, with 2 games per week, with the Championships on Wednesday, July 23, 2025

The format will be 5v5 with a minimum of 6 players per team and a maximum of 10 players per team.

All Games will be played Wednesday Nights (fields open at 6:30 pm for warm-ups) at Winston Churchill CI on Lawrence Ave. E (west of Kennedy Rd.)

Age Divisions (Based on 2025 Calendar Year)

Grade 1/2 – Ages 6–7

Grade 3/4 – Ages 8–9

Grade 5/6 – Ages 10–11

Grade 7/8 – Ages 12–13

Uniforms will be supplied (by week 1) (t-shirt). Players need to provide cleats and mouthguards. 

VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED—As we are a volunteer-based, not-for-profit organization, we require volunteers to coach the Flag Football teams. No experience is necessary. Please reach out to coaching @scarboroughthunderfootball.com with your name, contact number, and the age group you would like to coach! We can only run this program if we get enough volunteers. 

Total Cost for the season is now ONLY $149.00, including National Registry of $22.50 (this is paid directly to Football Canada and Football Ontario when you register)
