SCARBOROUGH THUNDER TAKES THE FIELD IN
THE AAA TIER FOR THE 2025 OSFL SEASON!

We are proud to announce that all Scarborough Thunder teams will
participate in the AAA Tier (Tier 1) of the Ontario Summer Football League (OSFL) for the 2024 season.

2025 OSFL Summer Divisions and Registration Information
Our registration fees are comprehensive, ensuring there are no unexpected costs.
The following are included:

  • Uniform (yours to keep)
  • National Registry
  • Transportation
  • Game Day Medical Support
  • Indoor and outdoor practices (January 11 - August 2025)
  • Access to Practice Facilities

Age Divisions & Registration Status:

  • U18 (12-a-side): Born 2007 – 2008
  • U16 (12-a-side): Born 2009 – 2010
  • U14 (12-a-side): Born 2011 – 2012
  • U12 (9-a-side): Born 2013 – 2014
  • U10 (6-a-side): Born 2015 – 2016

Important: A maximum of 10 players born in 2006 who do not currently have access to a football pathway
(e.g., High School or University team) may still be eligible to join the U18 Division.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

Players interested in joining Scarborough Thunder must have all outstanding fees from
the 2024 season cleared before registering.

2025 SCARBOROUGH THUNDER TRYOUTS

Scarborough Thunder invites all aspiring players to participate in our 2025 tryouts. The process begins with indoor training and conditioning sessions starting January 27th and continuing to mid-April.

Tryout Details:

  • Fee: $500 (Non-Refundable)
  • Evaluation Criteria: Coaches will evaluate participants based on:
    • Work ethic
    • Skill level
    • Teamwork
    • Overall ability
  • Roster Selection:
    • Initial player cuts will be made by the end of February.
    • Additional cuts may occur up to two weeks before the season begins, allowing players time to explore opportunities with other teams if necessary.
  • Important: Participation in tryouts does not guarantee a spot on the roster.

Time: 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: Agincourt Collegiate Institute


2025 OSFL Costs and equipment

Season Fee $1250:

  • The first $500 is NON-REFUNDABLE and due upon registration or team selection.
  • No refunds after the first game of the season.
  • Returning players with outstanding fees from 2024 will not be equipped or
    allowed to practice until they have paid the fees in full.

Equipment Requirements and Deposit:

  • Online registration must be completed, and all fees must be paid in full to receive equipment.
  • A $100 deposit (cash, debit, e-transfer, or credit card) is required and refundable upon equipment return.
    • Deposits from 2024 may be carried over with confirmation at the handout.
    • The deposit amount may increase at the discretion of the 2025 Board of Directors.

Equipment Provided:

  • Helmet
  • Shoulder Pads
  • Mouthguard
  • Practice pants and jerseys (limited supply)
  • Game uniform (jersey, pants, socks)
  • Tracksuit jacket
  • Backpack

Player-Supplied Gear:

  • 5-pocket girdle
  • Cleats

A vendor will be available on equipment handout day to purchase additional items.

Equipment Pick-Up Requirements:

  • Two pieces of ID (e.g., Health Card, Birth Certificate, Passport, Driver's License)
  • Players will have their photo taken for the team binder (Thunder attire encouraged).
