Welcome to the home of the Thunder!

The Scarborough Minor Football Association (SMFA) is a non-profit organization formed in 1987 to provide youth (ages 6–19) in Scarborough and the surrounding areas with the opportunity to play football. The Thunder is a proud Ontario Summer Football League (OSFL) member, a fully sanctioned league encompassing 39 Organizations across Ontario, from Windsor to Cornwall to Sault Ste. Marie. This is the largest tiered football league in Canada.

We offer AAA teams for U14, U12, U10 and AA teams for U16 and U18. The OSFL is part of Football Ontario's Ontario Community Football Leagues (OCFL). The OCFL organization also has the Ontario Fall Football League (OFFL), Ontario Community Flag Football League (OCFFL), and National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA), which are the ONLY sanctioned Leagues in Ontario.​​​​​​​
